Do you think there are more mass shootings than ever before? Not true…they are the decline. But this means nothing to those 26 families who lost loved ones in Newtown! We celebrate Christmas tomorrow; have you thought once of those 20 families that already had presents under Christmas trees for their children who were gunned down by an evil-driven man? I have cried since the tragedy happened, and I believe Jesus has cried also, as He did at the grave of His friend Lazarous. Jesus Christ is the light of the world, all other is darkness. For unto to us a Savior is born, for “at one time we [sinners] were darkness, but now we [Christians] are light in the Lord.” (Ephesians 5:8). The world hated Jesus and killed Him. Conversly, Jesus loved the world and died for it. The question for each of us is this: to whom will we come? To Jesus as our personal Savior? or, to the world ruled by the evil one? Though loved by Jesus, the majority will turn away and hate Him and His followers. America, once a Christian nation, is sliding away at break-neck speed; every Christmas reveals the many attacks on the Christ child…attacks every bit as deadly as the awful deaths of those 20 children in Newtown, who now are in the loving hands of Jesus. Will our nation wake up? What is in it for the God haters to breakdown our celebration of the birth of the Savior of all mankind? What is in it for them? Do they gain anything meaningful? No! So, they won’t stop me! I say to all, Merry Christmas! …for unto us a Savior is born and His name is Jesus who is the Christ!
